Timothy Seamans, ‘13 M.Div.

Timothy Seamans (formerly ‘Sommer’ at YDS) completed his Doctorate of Ministry from Virginia Theological Seminary in May. His thesis was entitled ‘Incarnational Pedagogy for a Secular Age: Embodying Scripture in Religious Education in an Episcopal School.’ His latest book, ‘Prayers for Every Season: More Common Prayer for Children and Families,’ was just released and is a followup to his earlier book ‘Common Prayer for Children and Families’ co-written with Jenifer Gamber (both titles are published by Church Publishing). Timothy currently serves as the Chaplain at the Cathedral School for Boys at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, where he preaches regularly. Last summer, Timothy led students and parents on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and he hopes to return soon.
