Rev. Bert Marshall (MDiv 1997) is the New England Regional Director for Church World Service (www.cwsglobal.org).  He is ordained in the United Church of Christ and served a congregation in western Massachusetts prior to assuming his present position.  He is a Nebraska native, where he played professionally in a rock 'n roll band (The Chancellors), opening for such groups as The Who, Herman's Hermits, and the Grassroots.  The band is in the Nebraska Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.  On a 2003 sabbatical he committed the Gospel of Mark to memory and now does storytelling performances of the whole gospel all over the country (www.gospelofmarkalive.com). His newest CD - "Good Time Gospel Prosperity Blues" - is available at www.cdbaby.com/cd/bertmarshall2 or at his website.

He and his wife, Kare, have two grown children and live in Plainfield, MA.
