Associate Pastor

MCC is a church of about 400 members, between 130-160 in worship each week. The church is currently in a growth mode, in the last 14 months we have welcomed almost 50 new members of various ages and in various stages of life. We are financially stable but not so flush we can immediately fix everything that ails an aging facility.  The people are caring and generous and value interpersonal connection and support. We are politically diverse, somewhat theologically diverse and racially not-so-diverse. We are a highly educated congregation that values honest faith exploration and has a high level of respect for a variety of perspectives. WE love to sing and value music contributions in worship. The staff works really well collaboratively together.

Our associate pastor will play a critical role in the faith and spiritual formation of our congregation and our neighbors. We have the capacity, the attitudes, the desire and the openness needed to excel as we serve God and minister to God’s people in new and robust ways. We expect that the minister we are now seeking will inspire, engage and walk with us as we “dream big” to make an impact beyond our walls.
