Associate Pastor

First Congregational Church of Vernon, UCC is primed to take on the challenge of being more visible and more active in sharing the good news of the Gospel to our neighbors and beyond. We are taking a fresh look at how and what programs we offer to support the formation of discipleship from our youngest to our oldest members. Our hearts and minds are open and willing to discover how we can live out our calling in our community. The Associate Minister will share general pastoral duties with the Senior Minister, including pastoral care, teaching, and preaching, with a collaborative approach to defining responsibilities. This role offers significant autonomy within designated areas, allowing flexibility for both ministers to negotiate the distribution of tasks based on their complementary skills and passions.
