The Canon for Mission Advocacy, Racial Justice, and Reconciliation will assist Episcopalians in Connecticut to effect God’s mission by pursuing wholeness, justice, and right-relationship with all of creation, especially in our commitment to dismantling systemic racism, white supremacy and anti-Black bias. The Canon will also assist Episcopalians in Connecticut to participate in God’s mission through the care for the goodness of God’s creation; advocating for the rights of our LGBTQIA+ siblings; overcoming income inequality in our state and its related effects on health care and education; preventing gun violence; limiting the expansion of casino gambling in Connecticut; welcoming refugees and immigrants; and working for housing equity and affordability. • Ordination in The Episcopal Church as a priest or deacon with demonstrated parish experience is required
• Graduate degree in ministry or related theological field preferred
