Faith Organizing Manager
SURJ is seeking a Faith Organizing Manager who will lead SURJ’s work to:
1) drive initiatives that are focused on developing the leadership, skills and analysis of people of faith;
2) organize people of faith into SURJ’s existing campaigns and organizing programs; and
3) develop and implement specific faith organizing plans that support SURJ’s overall strategies and goals.
This position is accountable for the day-to-day execution of SURJ’s faith work, and also contributes to SURJ’s short- and long-term faith organizing plans. This will require meetings with partners, close coordination with other SURJ organizing programs, recruitment of congregations, development of curriculum, and leadership development with participants. The Faith Organizing Manager represents SURJ’s faith work as a member of the ManagementLeadership Team.
